Dental inlay is used to partially reconstruct a tooth affected by deep or extensive caries. Also called indirect restoration, it is a real one prosthetic reconstruction which is used when, in the case of caries that have considerably affected the tooth, the simple composite filling would not guarantee an optimal result.

It comes into play only in the case of posterior teeth treatment, molars and premolars, offering excellent results in terms of duration over time.
